Publishing & optimization

The work continues after we upload.

I handle the release, then watch how people respond. Are they clicking? Where do they stop watching? What are they asking in the comments? That tells us what to change and what’s worth doing again.

One upload gives us something to work with on the next.

How I approach each video ↓

What I handle around each release.

01

Plan the release and promotion

I coordinate when we publish and how we promote it, from titles, thumbnails, and descriptions to the Shorts and social clips that support the release.

02

Follow the performance

I watch impressions, click-through rate, watch time, and retention to see how people find the video, what keeps them watching, and where we lose them.

03

Adjust the packaging

I run thumbnail A/B tests and refine titles when the data suggests a change. I look at clicks and viewing behavior together to judge whether the packaging is bringing in the right audience.

04

Listen to the audience

I read and respond to comments, looking for favorite moments, unanswered questions, and requests. That feedback helps me understand what viewers want more of.

05

Use what we learn next time

I compare results across uploads and watch for changing audience interests, then use what we learn to improve the next idea, opening, shoot, and edit.
