I’ve spent 15+ years in the edit, working on everything from wedding films to multicamera golf videos. I’m fast in Premiere, particular about how I organize a project, and comfortable sorting through a lot of footage.

Sean sent the footage. I did the full edit.

Sean’s team supplied the footage and graphics templates. I handled the complete 36-hole video, including the opening, golf edit, graphics integration, tracers, color, and sound.

My editing responsibilities

Sorting and syncing the footage: I organized and synced the two cameras, two lav tracks, and drone footage before starting the edit.
Building the intro: I chose from several voiceover takes, tightened the script in the edit, and built the opening with B-roll and graphics.
Color correction & camera matching: Corrected substantial exposure and color differences across the cameras and drone footage to make the finished video feel consistent.
Ground and aerial tracers: Integrated tracers on ground-level and aerial views, including sequences combining drone footage, a tracer, picture-in-picture player coverage, and a score graphic.
Graphics adaptation & compositing: Adapted supplied Final Cut graphics for Premiere. Incorporated masking, a logo appearing behind the player, animation, and drone speed ramps.
Audio & final polish: Balanced dialogue and music, refined transitions, and handled color, sound, and finishing for the complete 36-hole video.

02 / Good Good road-trip series

Six episodes. Six weeks.

Organized edits for an existing team.

I edited the golf coverage and returned organized timelines. Good Good’s internal team handled the intros, tracers, graphics, final assembly, finishing, and publishing.

Approximately 6–6.5 hours of footage per episode · Typically six cameras · 18 holes per edit

How I handled the footage and team handoff

Six-camera organization: Managed footage from typically three main cameras and three GoPros, keeping media organized for the golf edit and the internal team.
Timecode sync & multicam preparation: Used production timecode to help synchronize the available material and prepared multicamera sequences for efficient editing.
Hole-by-hole editing: Organized each round into 18 clearly separated holes and refined the shots, reactions, and conversations before handoff.
Matching the channel’s style: I matched Good Good’s pacing and approach to golf coverage so my sections fit the rest of the episode.
Clean project handoffs: Returned organized, hole-by-hole timelines that the internal editors could incorporate into their own projects.
Repeatable weekly workflow: Supported a six-video road-trip series published across six consecutive weeks.

Creative editing

Chasing Scratch / Desert Slashers

Filming and the full technical edit. I worked closely with Mike Shade on the story, pacing, and voice, bringing the footage, music, and sound together into the finished film.

Random Golf Club

One podcast moment became a complete short. I added footage, music, and sound effects around the conversation so it worked as a video on its own.
